An Italian magazine which talks about conservation, environment and art.
Thanks to Still Life in the history of art, we can compare the fruit and vegetables of the past with those we find today on supermarket counters. Our food has changed depending on aesthetic and marketing needs, developing canonical images that are increasingly stronger in our minds. The apple is always redder, the tomato lasts longer and longer in our fridge, and the onions are increasingly larger, for example. These articles are intended to emphasize the change in vegetables and the more conscious consumption of food, because even if appearance 'matters too, it can sometimes be wrong.
The following articles are available only in Italian.
